Muntons ale yeast is a versatile English ale yeast for producing full-bodied ales including pale ales, IPA’s, brown ales, porters and stouts. It has an apparent attenuation of 70% and has a powdery flocculation. It provides low ester formation and a higher residual gravity creating a maltier ale with a full body and mouthfeel. The ideal fermentation temperature is 64º – 70ºF (18º – 21ºC) and it has an alcohol tolerance of about 8%.
