In addition to this item, you will need a few other things to start your homebrewing journey. These include a stainless steel pot that is at least 8 quarts in size, a homebrewing equipment kit, beer bottles, bottle caps and a funnel. You must also have a dark, clean location to create the best possible beers. It should be relatively steady in temperature and be between 60° and 75°F for making ales and between 45° and 55° for making lagers.
