Swaen ‘BlackSwaen’ Chocolate Wheat malt is a roasted wheat malt with a rich flavor and slightly roasty aroma. It can be used in small proportions to adjust color, add hints of toastiness, improve head retention and increase body. It can be used in larger proportions at about 5% for an intense roasted character. It is suited to Schwarzbier, Stout, Porter, Altbier, Bockbier and Dark Wheat Beer.
