Heavy toast American Oak imparts a heavy toast character to beers and wines. Oak chips provide a fast extraction of aroma and flavor and are easy to use. Usage varies with desired intensity. Can be used be used to add character to a variety of foods and beverages or used as smoking chips.

Sanitize oak chips by steaming or mixing with a small amount of boiling water. Place the oak chips in a steeping bag and submerge in the liquid after fermentation has ceased. Flavor will develop up to 2 weeks. Remove the oak chips when the intended level of flavor is achieved.
