Light toast American oak chips imparts a light oak character with notes of vanilla to beer, wine or spirits. The small chips allow for precise additions and fast extraction. Flavor will develop for up to several weeks and they can be removed when desired intensity is reached.

Sanitize oak chips by steaming or mixing with a small amount of boiling water. Place the oak chips in a steeping bag and submerge in the liquid after fermentation has ceased. Flavor will develop up to 2 weeks. Remove the oak chips when the intended level of flavor is achieved.
