BRY-97 American West Coast Yeast is most widely known for producing the clean and bold tasting modern beers of the American West Coast. It was selected from the Siebel Institute Culture Collection and is used by a number of commercial breweries to produce a variety of different types of ale. It produces a wonderfully clean flavor that allows the malts and hops to shine through. The aroma is slightly estery and it produces exceptionally clear beers. Also, due to its high flocculation rate, it can slightly reduce hop bitterness levels. Gluten-free, non-GMO.
